Guidelines for Joining
- You must have a web page. Picky, picky. Yes, this seems obvious, but for some reason, I get a lot of additions for this ring by people who don't actually have web pages. Hint: this is a WebRing. A WebRing is a way to navigate Web Sites of a common theme. This doesn't mean you need a web page to browse the ring, you just need one to join it. Anyone who wants is welcome to browse it.
- Also, do us all a favor and actually finish your page before joining. I won't add you until you have more than an "under construction" sign, and in fact if your page has nothing on it, I'll just delete your site without notification. So build your page, then sign up, then put the fragment up, then write me with your SITE ID (that's important) and then I'll add you.
- You must self-identify as a woman. If you are a pre- or post-op M2F transsexual and you are living as a woman, that means you do qualify. If you're just a man who likes to pretend to be a woman on the internet, you don't.
- You must self-identify as bisexual. I have nothing against lesbians or straight women, but this is bifem space. Please respect that and if you choose to have a lesbian-only or straight-only space, I will respect that.
- No "MWC seeking BiF" or "Hot BiF seeks fun" - type sites will be added to the ring. If there is a small mention of that, fine. But if that's the main focus of the site, I won't add it.
- Sites with adult content are fine, but they must be clearly marked as such and must have the WebRing fragment outside of the adult-only areas. I never know who may be browsing the ring, and I'd rather not expose children to adult sites.
- Sex sites are not fine. The difference between "Adult" and "Sex" to me is that an Adult site may have some erotica and/or porn in addition to other content; a Sex site has the porn/erotica as the main focus.
- It must be a personal home page. I want to see pages about what your interests are, not pages about the business you run.
- There must be more content than links. If every page was just a page of links, we'd never get anywhere. I need a reason to stay for a while.
- No Excite Communities or Yahoo! Clubs. I have received requests to add a few of these and have turned them all down. I don't feel comfortable adding these as they are already part of an alternate type of community setup.
- I have final say on what sites are added. Please respect my opinion. You may think your site qualifies, but if I don't then you don't get added. Don't worry; I'm fairly lenient.
- When you send email to be added, include which ring it is and your site ID. All other information is irrlevant, but without those two, I don't know who to add. Requests missing one or both will be ignored.
