Join the Ring
- Read the Guidelines before joining.
I have recently received many requests to join the ring from sites that do not qualify for it (they are run by men, they are sexual in nature, etc). If you do not meet those guidelines, you will not be added to the ring and by joining and then requesting to be added, you are only wasting your time.- Download the ring graphic.
Okay, most people give you a join form before making you do this, but I find that if I don't put this first, people somehow assume that the image will magically appear on their web site. So, before you go and sign up for the ring, I want you to have the image taken care of.
This is the image:
![]()
To download it, you can:
- Right-click the image and select "Save Image As..." if you are using windows. Please make a note of where you are saving it to.
- Click and hold the image and select "Save Image As..." if you are using a mac. Again, please make a note of where you are saving it to.
- If you are using WebTV's transloader or some other system that will allow you to transfer files directly from one web page to your own web space, the full URL for the image is http://www.lunamorena.net/BiFem/newbifems.jpg
- If you are using AOL, please be sure that "image compression" is disabled. Otherwise the image will not download correctly and therefore not display correctly once you put it back on your page.
- If none of the above apply, please read your web browser's documentation for how to save images from web pages. If need be, you can probably click on the image and then select "Save As" from the file menu.
- Upload the image to your web server.
If you followed option c above, this is already done. If not, you need to follow the instructions for whatever web server you are using. Some require FTP, others will have you upload files from their management page. Please do not ask me for help with this, as I don't know how to upload images to every web server under the sun.- Add your site to the queue.
After you fill out the form below, you will be taken to a page which will contain your site ID and the fragment to add to your page, along with the rest of the instructions for joining the ring. You will also be emailed with the same information.
